Rune Labs Rune is a brain data company empowering the development and delivery of precision neuroscience therapeutics. We work with a wealth of newly-captured, high-fidelity neural recordings to advance data-driven therapies for diseases such as Parkinson’s, OCD, Depression, and other neurological conditions. Rune’s first-in-class precision brain data software [Register to View] class="postings-link">platform integrates electrophysiology, brain imaging, and device data together with wearable data and clinical labels. The combination provides researchers, drug developers, and clinicians with the tools to guide treatment, uncover hidden disease phenotypes, and design better-targeted therapies.

This is a full-time position on our Product team, where you will directly support internal and external researchers and clinicians. The Therapy Developer Relations Specialist role is an opportunity to impact discoveries in neuroscience (biomarkers, phenotypes, etc.) and the development of new data driven therapies (closed loop neuromodulation). In this role you will be responsible for prototyping and iteratively refining visualizations, dashboards, and analysis workflows that empower users to interpret and act on rich data. You will work closely with external customers, our internal neuroscience team, engineering, and product design. In collaboration with each of these stakeholders, you will conceptualize, implement, and refine tools that leverage our API for diverse use cases.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create data visualizations and analytics dashboards that present large-scale, multimodal data
  • Build templates and tutorials to inspire and empower our Therapy Developers to utilize our API and SDK
  • Understand and serve the diverse needs of academic and industry leaders in the field
  • Solicit and apply user feedback to iteratively refine prototypes
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ months of applicable work experience (e.g., internship), new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib or plotly)
  • Experience with large datasets and data visualization
Important Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to elicit and distill user needs
  • Prior experience in neuroscience, signal processing, and/or clinical research is a plus
  • Prior experience with analytics dashboard tools and/or Jupyter Notebooks is a plus
  • Experience with professional software development processes and tools is a plus

  • You must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
